revlon lip butters: review

So, let's be honest. Lipsticks are fun, but time-consuming. Any highly pigmented lipstick requires a fair amount of time in the mirror, working with the product to get a clean look. Now, don't get me wrong. I do love a strong lip every now and then, but most of the time I'm looking for something I can put on while running out the door, driving somewhere, or touching up at my work desk. Revlon Lip Butters provide the perfect combination of noticeable color and easy application. In addition, these lipstick-lipgloss combos are extremely hydrating and have a high enough viscosity to stay put on your lips.

I've tried quite a few of the colors and I do have an appreciation for each, but my favorite by far has been Pink Truffle (pictured below). This color has a little more pigmentation than most Lip Butters, but it's a subtle enough color that you still don't need a mirror for neat application.

  1. Is this the same color you are wearing in the picture above? Does it come out as dark as it seems in the tube?

If you like the lip butters, another thing you might like is: Revlon Just Bitten Kissbale Balm Stain. I find it stays on longer than the lipbutter, but is not as conditioning as the lip butter.

Thanks for always having awesome posts!

    1. It is the same color! It comes out lighter on my lips, but it is still noticeable. I will definitely try out the stain! Thank youuuu!
