Looking forward to Montreal.

Next weekend, I will be returning to Montreal for the first time in over a year. I can't believe that I have been away for so long. Montreal still holds the key to my heart. I can see myself moving back there one day down the road.

I miss the culture, the feeling of closeness with one's neighbors, the independent businesses, the metro, the external staircases, and the crispness in the air. I cannot wait to bring my camera and capture some of the most beautiful aspects of the city, which in my opinion lie in the more commonplace moments of the day: a cup of coffee at the cafe, walking down any side-street between Saint Laurent and Saint Denis, meeting with friends on Parc Mont-Royal for Tam-Tams.

I will be meeting up with one of my best friends in the entire world in Montreal, Jill Wayne. Montreal, as luck would have it, serves as the perfect meeting ground between Toronto and Albany. I will definitely be posting about our journey!
