My boyfriend has been cleaning out his grandmother's attic slowly but surely over the past couple weeks. While the majority of the attic's treasures will be sold at a garage sale that we will host some time later this month, I got to choose some of the beautiful vintage fashion items to keep. I cannot express how grateful I am for this woman's kindness. I cherish each piece she allows me to have.
As a sucker for lace, this collar immediately caught my eye. I'm assuming it is meant to be worn around your neck, on your shoulders. I see myself wearing it under the color of a button down shirt.
I was surprised by how well the color of the sheer scarf below translated in photo. It is really almost a neon red/coral color. The scallops on the edges give it so much personality and also brings it into trend for this year.
I was very impressed when my boyfriend picked out this bangle for me. It's absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to wear it on a night out.
I thought this belt was simple and elegant, with a strong vintage feel. I will most likely wear this as a waist belt around a dress, skirt, or with high-wasted shorts or pants.
This purse drew my eye because of its simplicity and also by the fact that it is both black and brown. Black purses go well with black/grey and cool tones while brown purses go well with earth and warm tones, so this purse goes with basically... anything. (:
Another simple black purse.
I really like the shape of this purse, the simple triangular stitch patter, the gold hardware, and the tassle!
A very unique purse which reminds me of a picnic!
This clutch is perfect for a night out. The wristlet chain is so thin and dainty and the clasp is understated in a very classy way. The sequined body of the purse provides a nice contract to the refined hardware. I can picture myself going dancing with this clutch!
I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope to have more vintage finds soon to share with you all!
Have a lovely, super duper day!
